For Numbers Day, children in year 4 explored the work of Italian artist Tobia Rava, who creates artwork using numbers. Inspired by his style and our class text The Ice Palace, children designed their own skeletal trees. They then filled their designs with numbers to combine maths and art in a creative way.

They also loved taking part in problem-solving activities using practical apparatus to support their learning.

The fun didn't stop there! Children took part in a maths escape room here they worked in pairs to crack 9 different codes. It was a fun, challenging day that combined creativity and teamwork!
