Year 1's PSHE day lasted us all week. The children took an in-depth look and exploration of the new 'Feelings Framework' that we are now using in school. On PSHE day, we introduced the children to the school’s ‘Feelings Framework’. We are learning about the names of different emotions and what our bodies look like when we feel different things.

Year 1 had a fantastic time during the Winter fun run, the bad weather outside did not dampen their spirit or energy levels!

As part of Anti bullying week, the children across school have created positive noticing labels. The children in Year 1 really embraced this idea and worked hard to create labels for their carpet partners to take home and share.

Reception have been learning how to manage their emotions as part of Anti-Bullying Week.

This week the children in year 2 have enjoyed a range of activities linked to Anti-bully Week. We have celebrated being unique by wearing our odd socks to school and in class we watched video clips showing different types of bullying. The children then completed work to show their understanding of the difference between bullying and being unkind and then thought about feelings linked to being bullied.

Year 3 took part in an anti-bullying workshop yesterday, where they explored the roles of the victim, bully, and bystander. They created freeze-frames to demonstrate their understanding.

As part of their topic in PSHE, Year 1 have been learning all about road safety. Today they completed their module by creating their own posters based on the green cross code and be seen be bright elements that they have been looking at.
