Children in year 4 had a fun and engaging day during their trip to Bosworth. They met a Roman soldier and Boudicca, explored real and replica Roman artefacts and used clay to create their own Roman coins. It was a fantastic opportunity to build on our history learning and experience the Roman period first hand.

The children in Year 1 have been busy learning about Bessie Coleman and Mae Jemison who are 2 inspirational black woman who conquered their dreams to fly. The children learnt about their life journeys, and then compared how they were similar and different before recreating Bessie's plane and capturing Mae Jemison in space through art work.
