Our school uniform is compulsory. The uniform and logo are important to us as they help children develop a sense of pride in their school and a feeling of belonging.
It also supports high standards and expectations in all areas of school life. Our governors request that our school uniform policy be adhered to.
The school uniform is as follows:

White blouse or shirt

Dark grey trousers or knee length skirt

Green cardigan or sweatshirt (branded or unbranded)

Green striped or checked summer dress

Black school shoes - NO TRAINERS.

If worn, hijabs must be green or black (these must be removed for PE lessons).
Pre-loved Uniform
We invite donations of good quality school jumpers and cardigans. A pre-loved swap shop is operated from the school office. Parents are also encouraged to contact the school office if they require any support with school uniform.
We ask parents to please ensure that all items are clearly named to enable staff to match found items to their correct owner!
PE Kit
Parents must provide their children with a PE kit: - pumps or trainers, a plain white t-shirt or branded West Park t-shirt and green or black shorts for PE lessons.
At West Park Primary School, pupils wear their PE kit to school on their PE day to provide maximum time for physical activity in the PE lesson. It is essential that pupils wear the correct PE kit.
The PE kit is as follows:

Trainers for outdoor

Pumps (optional) for indoor PE.
Pupils in some year groups will also require a swimming kit. You will be notified by letter.
All clothing must be marked with your child’s name.

Nail varnish is not permitted at any time.
Children are not allowed to wear jewellery.
Children with pierced ears should wear only small studs.
