Year 3 Science

In Year 3 the science topic is rocks this half term. The children have worked hard to identify and learn about a variety of different rocks and their properties. The children have now started to investigate fossils. They started by creating their own fossils in clay before spending time understanding how fossils and formed and which rocks they form in. We also found out some really interesting information about Mary Anning, who was a famous British palaeontologist and scientist.
