Year 1 Writing

The children have continued their writing journey this week and have been developing sentences about the witch losing items when she is flying. The children have worked collaboratively to build and develop sentences with a focus on using a capital letter at the start of the sentence and a full stop as their end of sentence punctuation. Some of the children have utilised colourful semantic writing supports to help them accurately develop and order their sentences to ensure they make sense. All of the children worked exceptionally hard to build, say and record their ideas this week.
