Year 1 Science

This week the children have started their first science topic focussing on everyday materials. In this lesson the children identified and then sorted a range of different objects into groups of wood, plastic, metal, fabric and glass. The children were encouraged to justify their sorting choices using language such as hard, soft, squashy, bendy, cold and warm.
