The Odd Egg

Reception have been reading The Odd Egg as part of our Spring has Sprung topic. In the story duck finds an odd egg and waits for it to hatch. We created our own odd eggs, with a surprise creature inside. Our eggs had dinosaurs, crocodiles and chicks hatching out of them. We also looked at the life cycle of chick and created plates to illustrate how a chick hatches from an egg. In the construction area we used different blocks  to create nest for our odd eggs.
