Year 1 Writing

The children demonstrated how to use a story map this week and retell the story of Room on the broom, by Julia Donaldson this week. They worked collaboratively in groups first to rehearse their ideas before coming together to share their retell. The children impressed the adults with their confidence to talk and their ability to share additional details from the story.
