Mae Jemison artwork

As part of our Black History week work, Year 1 reconstructed pictures of Mae Jemison. We explored using water colours to create space backgrounds. We flicked white paint across the page to create star effects. The children learnt how to use pastels to fill in the portrait of Mae.
