This half term, Year 6 have enjoyed learning The Haka in their PE lessons. The Haka is a war dance performed by the Maori people of New Zealand. We enjoyed watching the New Zealand All Black perform the Haka at the beginning of their Rugby matches.
We then learnt a popular version of the Haka called 'Ka Mata'. Pupils then choreographed their own Haka routines in small groups.
