Y1 enjoyed celebrating numbers day and completing a range of fun activities throughout the day. We first went on a hunt around the playground to complete all of the equations in the quickest time. We then measured our carrots and bananas to find the longest ones. The longest banana which we found was 29cm long and the longest carrot we found was 33cm long! This afternoon the children made some yummy fruit muffins by carefully measuring out the ingredients. They then also completing some pictures inspired by the piece art of work 'Castle in the Sun' by the artist Paul Klee. Take a peak at what we got up to!
