In Maths year 1 have been exploring subtraction using the first, then and now story structure. We have acted out some first, then and now stories, and then practiced telling our partner first, then and now stories using images. We had a go at writing a subtraction equation using the images from the first, then and now subtraction story.
Finally, some of us had a go at writing our own first, then, now stories to share with our peers.
