Well done to everyone again this week. We have had a fabulous last week of half term carrying out work about the Selfish Crocodile".
We though about what was heavier and lighter than the crocodile, we filled and emptied containers to fine out which were heavier. Measuring how much water it took to fill our largest container was so much fun.
The crocodile did not keep his teeth healthy so we made a poster for him to remind him to brush his teeth.
Reception children are getting so quick at recognising amounts when they see dots or counters, and they now know how to combine two sets of numbers.
We used our doh to do doh disco and make food for the crocodile - this helps to strengthen the muscles in our fingers. We are getting much better at forming our letters.
Children have done really well with their phonics too, and we are so proud of them and what they, and their parents, have achieved.
Have a HAPPY HALF TERM!
See you on 22nd February.
