Ancient Greece in Y6

Y6 have enjoyed their history lessons this week. We have looked at the landscape and climate of modern-day Greece and explored how these would have impacted the lives of ancient Greek citizens. We've also looked at the Greek alphabet and considered the importance of the introduction of vowels. Children explored Greek root words and discussed how understanding this morphology can improve our spelling and understanding of new words.
